- Performance is really lagging as far as air reduction goes. The windscreen just really can’t stop the wind like I thought it would. Maybe I mounted it wrong or something, but I have not been impressed with the performance at all so far, and I don’t intend to use this windscreen for very long. Hopefully will be getting a better one here soon.
- Looks so nice on the vehicle, but doesn’t really do a thing against the wind and noise. Better windscreens are available for so much cheaper elsewhere.
- Much cheaper than a lot of other companies out there, but unfortunately, they only offer acrylic options. Although acrylic is better than mesh, I was hoping to get Lexan. I settled for acrylic, and although the windscreen was cheap, it wasn’t amazing at performance, either. I gave it a 4/7 when I rated it.
- The finish is really not very good. At night, you have to live with more glare than you would get off of glass. I am not sure this is standard on windscreens, but by the looks of the uneven edges and glossed over cut (it doesn’t look laser, that’s for sure) I would say there exists a lot better windscreens out there for a much more economical price. Look around before you settle on any product, especially this one.
- Cheap alternative to the dealer and car shop windscreens. Does the job well and let me keep my bank account intact. I would definitely say this is a bargain screen for those who don’t want to fork over the $300 for a good one. Cheers.
- Works ok. The screen is very large and spans the entire width of the car. My only complaint is that the edges came somewhat rough. I was expecting them to be very smooth, similar to what you find on a drinking glass rim. It was pretty far from that, but still works great. The only thing to really worry about is the wear on my leather.
- Awesome deal. Stops wind nicely, but is awkward to get on. Straps would be better.
- Fits very nice on my SLK. You can tell when you first see it that it is meant to be fairly permanent. It doesn’t look like anything flattering, but it definitely does a really good job. The problem with ordering it online from the foreign country is the long wait times to get it, though.
- Works well, but much too expensive for what you get. It fits the 171 like it was meant to be on there, seeming it comes from the car’s own accessory stores, but I can say right now that you could find the same product in a variation for much cheaper than what you can find here. Yes, it works good, but I have found countless other windscreens for way less and with better reviews.
- Very nice windscreens that are fairly effective. The main problem I see is the way the screen is shaped. It dips down in the center instead of staying level all the way across. This, of course, decreases the amount of wind blocked by the screen, and consequently makes the ride slightly less enjoyable. If that were fixed, I would say it would be perfect.
- Customer located in the U.S. Shipped over in a couple of weeks and had it installed on my Mercedes in about 5 minutes. It worked okay, but I’ll admit that it didn’t make nearly the difference I thought it would. At close to $400 USD, it was a clean rip-off for me when I could have bought it much cheaper at numerous manufacturers here in the US.
- Too expensive to really fill the need for foreign residents and car owners. I spent an excessive amount of money shipping it to my place, and it was not exactly what I expected either. The mounting system was suitable, but wasn’t as rigid as I had hoped it would be with the mesh they use. I would rather get an acrylic windscreen later on. Basically flushed the money down the water closet facilities.

- I’ve had my SLK 171 since 2007 and driven it maybe twice a week because of my location (Seattle). With this windscreen from windblox, I drive it at least five times a week. The etchings that windblox does are excellent, too. I was going to buy the screen and have sent in for etching. Windblox did it just as good for a lot less.
- Windblox has the best products. The windscreen worked just as promised. If you are buying a windscreen, definitely go with these guys. They know what they are doing.
- Purchased smoke tint windscreen four months ago and have had it on my car non-stop since then. It has worked perfectly and stayed in mint condition from day 1 to day 120. I would say it cuts down the majority of the wind by far. I even smashed into it a few times with my arm and it has stayed in place fine.
- Excellent performance from this windscreen. The one thing that I do not particularly like is the mounting system they use. It is comprised of straps, either clear or black, that hook onto the rollers or headrests. Despite this, the quality of the windscreen is still phenomenal, and I have enjoyed using it very much.
- One of the easiest windscreens to install and use. I ordered it and once it arrived, had it on in under 2 minutes. Five minutes later and I was out on the highway testing it much faster than the speed limit is. Definitely worth the money, and probably the best bargain out there.
- Windscreen fits my car perfect and has made my drive so much better. I arrive to work looking presentable now. Thank you!
- Been using your windscreen for about 4 months now, Windblox. So far as I can tell, it has been the greatest improvement I have purchased for my car. The cut is as smooth as fired glass, and the etching is beautiful. Thank you! -Satisfied Customer
- The best part about this windscreen, besides the fact that it works excellent and is of the highest quality (no bending, buckling, has a solid mounting system, etc), is the fact that it is affordable! Just take a look at the other manufacturers on a Windscreen Reviews | Wind Deflector Review website, and you will see that they easily run 2-3 times as much. Although some may not care for the straps (that come in both clear and black) Windblox uses, they still keep the windscreen mounted solid for months at a time. I’m sold. It’s finally a good windscreen at a decent cost.
- Very helpful and informative on the phone. Product came fast and in excellent shape. I took two rides out in the same day because I couldn’t really believe the difference. As I have found out and the reviews show, you’re the value and quality leader.

- Lighting system is wonderful and gives a huge “awe” effect to your vehicle. I have enjoyed the way it looks on my SLK 171 a lot. What is more important than looks, too, is that is works! I have noticed a lot of difference between driving with and without it. Definitely a gorgeous product.
- Eh… Does okay, but it needs to be taller in order to really be effective. I installed it, and the design just isn’t built to really block the wind that well. I would say it’s a show horse, not a functional pulling draft. Take the word of a guy who has used three windscreens on three of his vehicles. There are in fact better ones out there, and to make it even better, they’re cheaper.
- It does great at looking great. It even blocks the wind really well, but it rattles like crazy when I drag my vehicle pitted again a friend. With that many horsepower, it isn’t making that much of a difference, but it does get annoying when you are concentrating on shifting and you hear the vibration of a plastic block behind you.
- Looks are definitely a huge factor for these windscreens. I am pretty sure most people buying from them are after the lighting system, which looks great and awes the cars in back of you when you flip it on. I think the price is pretty fair for what you get, too. I paid four times that for my sound and even more for an engine overhaul.
- Great looking windscreen, but it scratches and flexes too easily. It is concerning when you get going too fast, as well. I would suggest something that is more than just for looks.
- Too pricey for a windscreen with fancy lights shoved underneath of it. I ended up taking it off because it was wiggling funny while I drove and was wearing a line on my car’s material. I am glad I caught it before it did some real damage to my vehicle. You know what they say, diamonds are pretty, but they break your bank. Same goes with a nice windscreen that is there for only aesthetic purposes. It looks nice, but wasn’t built to be nice to your car.
- Great product. Looks real nice. Fitting is a little weird, but does fine.
- Doesn’t really work that well, but I didn’t get it for that, anyway. I just got it for the light, which look amazing on the car at night. I have an etching of my company’s logo on the car, so I get to advertise and look pretty cool at the same time. Definitely an ego trip! But yeah, don’t buy for the windblocker, get it for the lights.
- The tempered glass looks so nice on the car, but that’s about it. Besides a little quieter ride, the wind is still about the same and the glass windblocker actually whistles sometimes while in place. If you want something that looks really nice, than this is it, but if you want an actually windscreen, this isn’t the way to go.
- Definitely an eye catcher with my custom lighting implement installed with it. The product is way too expensive for what it says it can do, but at least it looks nice. I will probably use it in place with another windscreen. This works better as decoration than anything. I do get some great attention when I take the Mercedes downtown in the evening, though.

- I have two different windscreens for my SLK 171. This one was cheaper than my other one, and it has been much less effective. My suggestion is to get a windscreen that will last a long time and cut the wind down well. But before I say that wholeheartedly, I will say that this one still works pretty good for being as cheap as it is. Not really a quality leader, but still a good cheap alternative if you are short on cash. An extra $20 will get you a better one, though.
- Very cheap windscreen, so it was nice to see my money not all going into a mere toy for my car. I regret not getting lexan, however. I have already cracked the windscreen after smashing into it a few times. It is so hard to remember it is there. Despite the fact it was cost effective, it has not been the best quality.
- Good windscreen, screaming deal, and a much nicer ride. That tells the whole story, folks. I have driven my Mercedes a heck of a lot more now with the windscreen in place, and that has been really important to me as I consider taking longer trips in it. I am planning a cross country trip this September. With the windscreen, I feel completely comfortable doing this.
- The price is nice, but the windscreen is not the best quality. You get a good value out of it, but a few more green bills will get you a lot nicer windscreen. The mounting system is faulty and the straps aren’t the best quality, either. The best thing about the windscreen is the quality of the cut. You can tell a lot of time went into that, at least.
