- I was one of the first customers to try this out. I've tried other windscreens in my local car club, and in comparison, I'd say this one does indeed block more wind. Granted, it does not get you close
to driving with the top down, but it is noticeably better than the others. However, the reason I went with this one is because it is made of lexan. I have seen those other acrylic windscreen stuffed
against the trunk lid, and they just warp and break. This windscreen has the right material for the job. So, the price is a bit more, but this is a windscreen that will actually
last the life of your car, instead of a few years, like the other guys. You get a better performing windscreen to boot, too!
- This windscreen is a few more bucks, for a way better unit. In my Solstice, I notice a big difference. I did not like the other styles, because I have seen how they mess up the seal
against the trunk lid, and I have not had this problem on this windscreen. Here is the kicker - I dropped this windscreen, and it did not break! I accidentally fumbled when I was installing, and it dropped
from the car door, to my concrete floor. I am sure a regular windscreen would have busted into pieces. I do not recommend dropping this windscreen, of course, but it is nice to know that it can take it.
- Not a bad a product. It did the job well
and kept some of the wind out of my Pontiac. However, I thought the
value of the product was not completely fair when compared with the
price of the product. I would prefer to see a lower price on this
product in the future. I probably wouldn’t go with this particular wind
screen again.
- A bit pricey, but overall
does a good job. I don’t mind paying for fair quality when I see it, and
it does the job a lot better than some of the other windscreens out
there. I would suggest this windscreen to anyone who needs a good
deflector that will do the job, but don’t be afraid to shop around,
either. There are a lot cheaper options than this, but the price is
right for market of windscreens out there.
- I thought this was a
horrible value for the product! The price was way too high for the
quality that was delivered to me. Yes, it does the job just OK, but I
would not buy this in the future simply because it’s a rip off. My
advice to buyers is to find something that is better quality and better
priced. This doesn’t meet either of those.
- I like this product.
It does a great job on my Solstice and keeps the air out nicely. I
didn’t notice a huge sound difference, though. The only real downside is
the price, which is higher than many other windscreen companies I
shopped at. I finally went with them because I figured that the higher
price meant more quality. The quality is good, and I wouldn’t mind
buying from them again, but it was slightly under my expectations. In
the future, it would be great if they could match the quality of the
product with their price.
- Okay product, but poor quality. In other
words, it works okay as a windscreen, but the quality of the
material was poor. The windscreen itself is also kind of small,
so it doesn’t cut out as much wind as other products, I think. I
compared to several other companies, and many have much larger
windscreens that look like they would do a much better job. The
price is really good, however.
- The windscreen
itself does an OK job. I thought that the quality and design
would be better, though. There are not very many options on it,
either. I really wanted a different tint, but Jay Senoff doesn’t
offer such services. That’s a bummer for me, and I am afraid I
will take my business to a place with better quality and more
“extras.”
- Price is really awesome! It’s the lowest
I found and works great. My order was processed fast and the
product came quickly. My only complaint is the performance in
the windscreen. Quality is lacking, and the wind isn’t cut out
as much as my buddies say it should be with the windscreens they
have from another company. Despite this, I am still content with
it, but would not likely recommend it to use
- I don’t know how
they could make this and pass it off as a truly good windscreen.
The size is really small on my Solstice, and I know for a fact
that several other places may a similar product in a larger size
for about the same price. Now that’s disappointing! I could have
had more quality for the same price. I will say though, you
aren’t going to find a much cheaper windscreen around.
- My windscreen
for my Pontiac does a good job, but I wanted it etched, and Jay
Senoff doesn’t do that. I ended up taking it to a private
etching company and having them do it. Overall, it “gets ‘er
done.” I would definitely suggest this company because the price
is right, and the product makes a big difference in driving.
- After using two windscreens, this one is
by far the inferior. It is way smaller in size than the other
one I purchased for my Pontiac, and it was only a few bucks more
than this one. I would rather put in a little more money and see
a much bigger difference in the air and sound in my car. Sure,
it does the job, but the quality in the design and the
performance could definitely be better.
- After using two windscreens, this one is
by far the inferior. It is way smaller in size than the other

than this one. I would rather put in a little more money and see
a much bigger difference in the air and sound in my car. Sure,
it does the job, but the quality in the design and the
performance could definitely be better.
- The product stinks because the quality
is so poor. Overall, the price is good and probably the
cheapest. But lowest isn’t always best, and this windscreen
illustrates this nicely. I would strongly suggest shopping
around more if you don’t mind spending a few extra dollars. It
would really be worth it.
- Performance, it does
a mediocre job at, and quality is poor. The windscreen is small
and feels cheap compared to other windscreens I looked at. I
expected something much more durable and stronger. Next time I
will be sure to go with a more expensive but higher quality
product.
- Material,
although acrylic, feels cheaper. I would have preferred a lexan
option, but that wasn’t going to happen with Jay Senoff. My
advice to you? Look around and compare carefully before buying a
product. The price is good with this product, but the quality is
poor. Weigh the balances carefully.
- Great product and great performance, but it comes
with a price. I know some windscreens can be gotten for under a $50, but
I trust that the price I paid for this one will mean I got a good
quality. Overall, a good product but just not a lot of options like
tinting. If you find something with the same quality and cheaper, it’s
definitely a steal!
- Great job at cutting down the air in the
vehicle. You can really tell the difference between a cheap product and
a good company making quality wares. I really enjoy driving my Solstice
now, and am looking forward to getting out there again this summer. The
price is fair, the quality is amazing! It’s going to be a great week
riding in my car.
- I think the price is a little steep for a piece
of plastic, but I suppose there is always a trade-off somewhere. . . At
any rate, I am not complaining because the customer service and delivery
time was great, and the product does what they claim it does. I would
definitely consider buying from them again, but might check to see if it
would cheaper to buy it elsewhere.
- Strong, durable, and
expensive. Those are the three words I have for this product. You are
most probably paying through the nose for the quality of the product,
but I think it is too expensive when a few other companies give you more
options, like Lexan or Acrylic and charge even less. I would rather
check out another product than pay the price of this again, but since I
have it, I will say that it works fairly well.
- Ug, got this windscreen as
a present from someone who didn’t know better, and I support it’s the
thought that counts. It’s ok, but not my first choice. Performance works, but
the finish and craftsmanship could be better. This Kappa screen also
fits too tight, messing up the defroster wires and the lid gasket - may not
use much longer.
- Purchased this a
few days before a road trip and haven’t regretted it at all! The product
does a very good job at cutting down the wind and noise. So much so that
I had my volume much lower than I normally do when freeway driving with
my top down. It was also very easy to install and use, unlike other
reviews I have read from other products. A score of 10 from me.
- Love the way it cuts the wind down. I
drive a Solstice from work to home each day, and it’s hard to drive with
the top down when you are trying to keep your suit and hair from doing a
wind-blown look. Got this product a few months ago and haven’t kept the
top on except for rainy days. The only downside is the price. It is way
more expensive than other windscreens out there, and I only got this one
because it was recommended to me by a friend. I am sure now that any
similar product would do the same job, so I would probably try out
different options next time.
- This is a sweet product, and a
fairly good deal, too. The product seems durable enough, which I was
happy about after hearing that there are some that are flimsy and poor
quality. This has exceeded my expectations and I plan to enjoy many
hours out on the road with my car. Thanks Kappa!
- Good product,
but the price is a little high. I have, thus far, been met with
satisfactory performance from this product. I can only expound on the
fact that the value is a little low, since the product is very similar
to other windscreens that are almost half the price. I am still,
however, enjoying it and will continue to do so throughout the summer.
- Fantastic product. They offer a tempered glass version that I purchased.
It was easy to install. It has lasted over one year with no scratches. It doesn't vibrate
like those flimsy screens (I originally had a Windrestrictor that scratched, cracked, and
warped within 2 months). The durability is excellent. Mine was etched and lighted. Looks
and works beautifully. Comes in several tints.Service was great,
Thanks Ray. I rate it A+ overall.
- Can’t beat the price, but can easily beat the
product. I got the windscreen, installed it, and within a few months
accidently bumped against it and cracked it. I got on the website, and
it turns out that they use only 1/8” acrylic. That simply isn’t enough
for a durable windscreen, in my opinion. Of course, now I am stuck with
it, but at least it was cheap, right?
- Awesome windscreen, and cheap. I enjoy it a lot.
The only concern I have is the thin feeling of the acrylic they use. I
don’t know exactly how thick it is, but I take it off each time I put
the top up because I am afraid of scratching or breaking it. I am not
sure this is necessary, but still, I would feel more comfortable with a
better product. It is very cheap, however, and I am glad it didn’t leave
a sizeable dent in my wallet.
- A pretty fair price and windscreen. The cost
matches the value, since the product isn’t anything especially fancy,
but it gets the job done and works okay. Overall, I am satisfied with
the windscreen and enjoy the smoother air in the car and slightly
reduced noise. A good product at a fabulous price.
- The product isn’t bad, but I wish the company
offered more options with their sales. I planted on getting tinting and
straps attached, but you can only use screws. I was okay with it, but I
still wish there were more extras to buy. If you want the bare minimum,
simple windscreen, this will work fine. If you want an awesome
windscreen for an awesome car, might want to look around a bit.
- A good car deserves a good windscreen. This
definitely is close to it, too. It just doesn’t go all the way, though.
The performance, although okay, matches the price I paid for it. It’s
probably the cheapest windscreen on the market, but not something I
would go for again because I know an extra $30 could buy me so much
more. I am sure other companies would actually let me order engraving,
too.
- Good windscreen, but cheap and not necessarily the
best on the market. Performance was great, though, despite the slightly
“below par” feeling of the material. It doesn’t matter that much to me,
though. I take it off except when I ride with the top down, and I mostly
drive my Escalade, anyway.
- The windscreen works great. My budget was
kind of low, and I was worried I would be paying nearly $200 for
other windscreens on the market. This fit my budget and does the
job wonderful. Their service was a little hard to get a hold of,
however. That’s really my only complaint. Besides that, a great
windscreen for a great price.
- Paid
$50 for a tinted windscreen, and a $50 product is what I got.
Let’s face it, the only real thing they’re selling is a cheap
mass-produced product. I was expecting something that had design
and elegance. All I got was a piece of plastic I could have cut
myself from plexiglass. That’s not what I thought I paid for,
but I suppose next time it would be better to buy from a better
company and pay attention to the pictures on their website!

- Finally a windscreen I can appreciate! I paid $50
for one four months ago and it cracked the day after my first ride
because I reached back and banged into it. I bought this 2 weeks later
and it’s served my purpose quite nicely. A few bucks more, but great
quality and excellent options to choose from.
- Great product at
a fair price. There is a company or two that charges less for this
product, but I’ve only bought from Windblox, and their service is
unprecedented, their windscreens are amazing, and their variety is
outstanding. I enjoy every second I ride in the car with Windblox
protecting me. Kudos to Windblox—you have my loyalty to your company.
- Definitely a leader in service and quality. There product, from
the two windscreens I compared, is much because of the higher rounded
top. Other products are shorter and don’t cut down the noise or air as
much. This one definitely does all that and more. I think it even adds
to the aesthetics of my vehicle.
- It’s funny, because last year
my friend got a Sky, and this year I got a Solstice (both use a similar
product). They ended up ordering a $180 windscreen and were unhappy
because they wanted it etched. I got mine customized from Windblox, got
it in half the time they did, and enjoy a much quieter car than they do.
Sorry to say it, but they got ripped off and I got the better deal for
half the price.
- Outstanding product and use. Easy to install
and great customer service. It was a pleasure to order from them, and
they were extremely courteous to me on the phone. I ordered tinting from
them, and I love the way it looks on my Solstice. The price is
definitely reasonable, too. I now enjoy my vehicle every sunny day with
the window down, even in temperatures I would normally refuse to drive
open in.
- Awesome performance, although I think the price is a
bit much since there are a few other companies selling the same kind of
products for less than $60. I am not complaining at all, though, since
the results in the vehicle are truly incredible. All I can say is thanks
for serving me and other auto owners!
- Went out and bought this a couple weeks ago, and
I found it to be invaluable! I appreciate a good sale, being a salesman
myself. I only wish I could advertise for them all the time. I would
highly suggest this company for windscreens for any car and am confident
they can deliver the windscreen any person would want.
- I like
the product, just not the price. I saw two other companies selling
windscreens that were cheaper than here. I will admit that their product
does have a degree of superiority to it. It is larger than most others I
have seen, and it does do a very praiseworthy job at reducing wind in
the car and keeping noise levels down. A good leader in quality, but
certainly not the cheapest.
- I’ve been without a windscreen for
a year, and finally bought one a few weeks ago. Oh man, can you tell the
difference. Now I can’t believe I ever had a top on my car. Well, expect
for rainy days, right? But this windscreen has done amazing things for
my ride, and I think it is definitely one of the best on the market.
- I did some shopping around before I settled on this one. I found
several windscreens that I liked, for under $100, but this one took the
cake. The first I looked at had only one shade of tinting, and it was
only 1/8 inch thick. This one came in at 1/4 inch thick and had several
shades of tinting. I have a red Solstice, so I naturally got the red
tint. It looks awesome on the vehicle and the performance is stunning. I
am so much happier I got the durable Lexan, too. Thumbs up here.
- Great product, but a little wide. As far as durability, it’s amazing,
but that doesn’t say a whole lot when getting it on between things. It
still fits remarkably well, however. I am very pleased with the
performance I get out of it and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Especially when it comes to wind reduction. No more wind-blown hair
here!
- What’s not to love? The windscreen was delivered and
performs on par with everything I anticipated. I easily listen to my
music now and enjoy the great warm air even into mid-fall when the days
are well into the low 60s. If you don’t mind paying a little more for a
good windscreen, go with these guys. They are definitely the value
leader and get you fantastic products for a great price.
- Picked
up a Solstice 6 months ago and heard about windscreens for them. I got
one a couple months ago and think it’s the best thing since Star Wars.
It’s a great windscreen, and so far I have driven with the top on only 3
days this month. I’m picking up a Miata a few months from now, and I am
going to Windblox to help me out with a windscreen. I know they won’t
let me down.
- Not a bad windscreen,
but there are cheaper solutions out there. As far as quality goes,
however, this company is unbeatable. I have a friend with a Mustang and
have heard some serious horror stories about buying windscreens and
having them break. Mine has held up amazing so far and I am really
enjoying the quiet cabin. Thanks so much Windblox!

Cost: $169+
Description: Acrylic
Options: Etching, Lighting
Warranty: 90 days
Return Period: Two weeks
- A top notch product, but I found it way too hard
to install. I had a hard time getting it on the vehicle, and for the
price I paid, you would think it would at least be easier to install.
The quality is good, but the price and installation makes me think twice
about ordering this again. I might buy from them again if the price was
cheaper, or if the product design was different. For now, it does the
job well, I just won’t be taking it on and off!
- These folks were great help on email, always answer my questions in hours. Got windscreen days after ordering it, and I'm 98% satisfied with it. Foremost, the windscreen looks great with my etching and its lights, and it works great too. I take off 2% satisfaction since when I went out to my car the other day, I noticed a scratch on it, and I'm not sure how it got there.
- Installation
was a pain in the neck, the price was too expensive, but the product did
a good job. I don’t mind paying for quality, but if I am paying over
$150 for a supposedly amazing product, it should really be easier to
install. The tradeoff is kind of lame, and it definitely detracts from
the product. Despite this, I would consider buying again just because
the quality is good and matches the price.
- Awesome product! The
price is high, but you get your money’s worth out of it. This thing cuts
wind like a bulldozer and I can really notice a difference in the sound
and wind created in the vehicle. I would definitely suggest this
product. A note of caution however, be prepared to spend a little time
putting it on. The installation is a little difficult.
- Design
flawed! This product is pretty hard to put on, and it took me forever to
install it just so I could use it. And despite the good product, it was
way too expensive to be that hard to install. I would not order this
windscreen again just because of the installation and fitting
difficulty. If I pay a high price for a product, easy installation
should be included. It wasn’t.
- Although the price is high, it
is definitely a good product. Before I had a lot of noise and wind in my
car with the top down. Now I can drive my Solstice with pride and enjoy
a lot less noise and wind. The only real issue I have with this product
is the hardships of installation. I really like the product, it fits the
car OK, and it does a fairly decent job.
- Arg, I had such high hopes for Wind Restrictor, given their awesome reputation. The service was fabulous, and the wind restrictor worked great for a while, but it rubbed agains the rubber lining on seal, wearing it down. Now, whenever it rains, some water is leaking in. The windscreen is excellent quality, but maybe this is a design problem?
- The product is hot,
the price is not. I enjoy the product, but I really have a problem
justifying the money I spent on it. I don’t think it works that amazing
for the price I paid. The quality of the product is excellent, though,
and although it took me a more than a few simple minutes to get it on
the vehicle, I would give the product a 4/5. There most likely is
something better out there, but future buyers…it’s your call.
-
Not a bad product at all. It is by far a good value for the money. I
knew as soon as I put it on and took it out for the first drive that I
was going to be driving with the top down a lot more than I normally do.
No complaints from me, except that it would be great if the price was
slightly lower and the quality was the same. The cost definitely hurts
the wallet, so it isn’t a place I would probably buy from on a regular
basis. I suggest shopping around a little for a cheaper but still good
quality product. If you turn up nothing, come back to this company.
- This is a first rate company, but I'mot sure about the product itself, a little flimsy. It looks great on my car though, but it joustles when I'm driving.
- I enjoyed every second I use this product, but I despise every
penny I spent on it. I found several other good companies selling
windscreens for much cheaper than these guys were. And they had better
reviews on their products, too. I’m not going to complain or grouch
about the quality of the product, I just wish it were more economical
and fairly priced compared to the other windscreen companies out there.
- My Solstice is a much nicer ride with this windscreen, and I
thought that the quality was very fair for the price. It took a while to
get the product on, though. It was kind of a letdown because I thought
it would be easier to get on the car. It wasn’t. I am still happy with
its performance, however
- It is okay as a windscreen, but the
value isn’t that great. I paid over $160 for this screen, and I found a
similar windscreen for only $100 a few weeks after receiving it. Not
that a windscreen is a windscreen, but I figured that if the rating on
the other is better and the price is cheaper, I would much rather go
with the cheaper product. Next time I will be sure to shop around more
before I make my purchase. The windscreen does work fairly well, though.
- I noticed a better difference in the wind than I did the sound,
but that’s just me. The quality is a pretty close match to the price,
which was good since I thought it was a bit expensive. I didn’t do any
comparing, but having bought with this company now I would probably go
with them again. The windscreen is very difficult to install, however.
If you are afraid of a little trouble putting on a windscreen, don’t go
with this product.
- I love this windscreen! I like the way it
cuts down on the noise that I hear inside the cabin of the vehicle.
Granted, you pay for the quality, so there might be cheaper solutions
out there, but I like what I got and wouldn’t want to go with another
company after using it. If you don’t mind the higher price, then I
definitely would recommend this to you.
- The material is great
and the price definitely matches it. I would prefer a lower price, since
I found out that these guys are running the higher end prices. The
product checks out pretty good, however, and I enjoy using it on my
Pontiac. Their service was very courteous as well, which I appreciated.
I haven’t tried out any other windscreen, and if there are any other
better and cheaper windscreens, I would probably go with them. But
working with this company, I could recommend them, too.
- Great
price, great product, and great performance. The cost was worth it for
my expectations, and was very fair, I think. The performance is super on
this product, too. I was hesitant to try it out, but now I know that it
is going to give me many more enjoyable miles on the road without the
car top on. Reading other reviews, I heard people had some trouble
installing. I didn’t have too much trouble, though.
- I love the
product, but I think the price was excessive compared to the other
products that are on the market. I would have preferred to use another
company that gave an equally good product for cheaper, if one could be
found. I like the performance, however, and I really enjoy the reduced
noise and wind in my Pontiac Solstice. Great material used, too. Very
durable and tough
- Price too high. Product does the job. The
performance is fairly good, but I was expecting no wind in the vehicle.
I was disappointed to find this wasn’t the case. It did cut the wind
down a lot, and the sound was reduced to almost nothing, but that wasn’t
what I thought I paid for. Apparently these only reduce the air and
sound, not eliminate it. Despite the good construction, the product was
also a hassle to get on. I would suggest use another company unless you
know what to expect with this one, and that’s a good product with a high
price.
- A+'s all of the way around. I got the best service from these folks. My wind restrictor looks great, and works even better. I recommend this company to others.
- Absolutely sweet product at a fair price. The Solstice I
own is way nicer to drive because I don’t get my hair blown back in my
face or have to listen to the noise of the wind in the cabin. I love the
product and would suggest it. If there was one thing to improve, it
would be the price. I am sure there are cheaper deals around, you just
have to look at other companies a bit. As far as this product goes, it
works great.
- Looks great and would be amazing if it actually blocked the wind. Also, it is VERY fragile. I ended up breaking mine after 2 weeks when I took it off. I know it is supposed to be pretty much solidly mounted the entire time, but I was taking it off for the winter and one drop did it in. Definitely a waste of my money. Thanks but no thanks.
- Gorgeous windscreen looks fantastic on the car. I wasn’t really hoping to get a lot of wind blockage, which is good because it is only marginally. However, the looks are killer and it really adds to the aesthetics of the solstice. Between the car’s natural curves and the new windscreen, I really think it looks awesome.
- The green bill monster just about ate me along with the checkbook. I spent about $600 to get it and bring it to the US. It looks great, but was not worth it at all. An etched lexan would probably give the same appearance, and I definitely can’t afford to do that again. Oh well, I will enjoy it for now.
Zefferus

Cost: $68
Description: Acrylic
Options: None
Warranty: One year
Return Period: 30 days
- Cheap and good quality, but others can beat it.
I’ve seen better windscreens out there, but not for as good as price as
this. However, I would definitely say this is better than the $50
versions out there. It all depends on what you’re after. I would
definitely buy from them again since I don’t want anything fancy.
- The product is great, and so is the
price. The performance is incredibly good, and I am confident
that it will meet or exceed my expectations in the future. I
purchased it after owning my Solstice for a couple years, and it
has forever changed the way I view driving. I live in the
northwest, and sunny days aren’t always warm days. With the
windscreen I bought, I have been driving in weather 10 degrees
colder than what I would normally drive in with my roof down.
- It’s
a bargain. If it’s not the cheapest, it’s definitely in that
category. I have been driving with it for about a week now, and
I thoroughly enjoy every second of it. Thanks for a great
windscreen, Zefferus!
This has great performance
and it doesn’t break my wallet. Do they make wives like that?
And do they cost $60? By far a good windscreen and a good price.
My Solstice even looks great with it on. Now they just need to
start a matchmaking service so I can use that, too. Ha!
- Okay product at a
good price. I know of only a couple other companies that offers
a better product. One is only a few bucks more, too. The only
grudge I have against this company is the lack options that they
include with their product. The price is great, but I would much
rather pay a few extra bucks and be able to get tinting and
straps for it. Oh well. . .
- I noticed a change in the air and noise in
the vehicle as soon as I put it on. It works extremely well and
makes driving a pleasure instead of a hassle. I work as a
beautician, so I like to look my best on the way to and from
work. This makes that possible. Next time, however, I think I
would go with a place that will etch my business name in it.
- It’s wide, so it
blocks air really well, but isn’t as tall as some windscreens. I
was hoping to get it a little taller, but I guess I didn’t pay
close enough attention to the picture on their website.
Nonetheless, I still think it is a good product. I just don’t
know how it compares to taller windscreens.
- Nice performance and a good price. I am
not sure you can find this low of cost with this good of
performance anywhere else. It would be sweet to find something
even better remotely within the same price range (under $100?).
I didn’t bother shopping around after I found this one, but who
knows, better ones may exist. Shop around, find what you like,
and if you can’t, buy from here. That’s my only suggestion.
- An attractive deal; good performance. I
can assertively say that I enjoy this product a great deal. Keep
in mind there are better ones out there from what I have been
able to deduce. But they cost slightly more. This one cuts down
noise very well, although I found the wind to be somewhat
persistent in resisting the windscreen. Overall, a nice product,
and I might consider buying from again.
