- Way too expensive to really compete in the American market, but I had to get it and see if it was worth its salt. Here’s the generalized “scoop” compared to my lexan windcscreen: 1) It works well, but air leaks in from the sides a lot more than with my lexan. 2) The screen is rigid, but I think it is pretty fragile if it were dropped. 3) The price is much higher than my lexan. 4) Overall, lexan beats screen by 3-0. Just my two cents.
- I really like the windscreen, but it really can’t hold its own with the amount of air it actually blocks with a screen. Yes, it looks great, but that’s about it, and I am pretty sure that you can get light glass and acrylic blockers for much cheaper. Not positive on that, but that’s the rumor on the street, anyway. I would probably have to say that I would rather try another company next time than spend $400 USD.
- Love the windscreen and the design work Oris put into it. I am a pretty big fan of screen and frame based windscreens, so I bought this one from the dealer store when I knew they offered one. It fits the car like it was made by the car manufacturer and really cuts down on the amount of air that flows through the cockpit while driving.
- Expensive, but it excels at performance at higher speeds (like 120mph, don’t ask). I had the money to blow, so if you do too, I would suggest it.
- Not a bad looking product at all. I usually don’t spend so much on accessories for my car, but I couldn’t resist after my friend let me have a ride in his convertible with a windblocker from Oris. It’s worth the money and is pretty easy to use. You’ve probably seen better deals around out there, but if you like the mesh, definitely go with Oris.
- Fits well and looks even better. The top folds down, which makes it much easier to get the top on. I don’t like to spend a lot of time getting ready to use my vehicle—I would rather just use it, so this was a plus when I want the top on. In general, it is pretty tough and can take a beating if it is really windy outside, etc.
- Very pricey if you are looking to ship into the U.S., but it came fast and mounted in about 20 minutes after I figured out how it worked. I would have to say that it is very comparable to my friend’s lexan windscreen, but this one looks a lot better. It’s just a basic black finish with a mesh-like material in the center. However, note that once you get going, it sometimes whistles at you. Not really that much, but a little obnoxious over time.
