- Does okay with performance, but I find the mesh to be really delicate. I do not intend to use this more than once or twice a month, so it’s okay, but if I were using it on my BMW, I would definitely want a screen that featured a more permanent and rigid material. The frame looks great with the vehicle, though.
- Price is reasonable for UK owners, but not for US owners. I paid well over $280 with shipping. I collect cars (and love to drive them), but not this much. I never even really used the windscreen, because the mounting system wasn’t a strap-based system. I prefer not to alter or take apart my cars once I have restored them, and a strap-based system is easier on the vehicle materials. The one time I did use it, the wind was pretty much gone, though.
- Too expensive for those paying in any type of North American currency, really. Whether that may be the Canadian or U.S. dollar. I would highly suggest looking around if you are from this continent and actually want a good deal. I ordered this one and had it imported, and it worked quite nicely, nonetheless. The screen material looks much better than a plastic material like Lexan.
- Excellent service and looks great on the car. It was a bit hard to get a hold of them, but I eventually did and got a great deal on the screen. The frame around it makes it feel so much heavier in construction, but then again, I don’t plan on being abusive to the windscreen, either.
- Does OK, but acrylic or lexan would have been so much nicer had I known it existed when I bought this one. The frame makes the product pretty durable, but one accidental snag and you are looking at a shot windscreen. It would take a little bit more than your average bump with an elbow, but a knife or sharp object could definitely pierce it. If you treat your car like crystal, you’ll be fine. If you drive the heck out of it, you should go with something stronger…seriously.
